1. #ed1c24

   Red Pigment Color

Wikipedia lists #ed1c24 as pigment red, the red a painter gets straight from the tube. Red Pigment color is punchy and a touch orange, with 28 points of green warming it, the red of a primary-school paint pot.

2. #00a550

   Green Pigment Color

Wikipedia’s list of colors includes Green (pigment) at exactly #00a550, a name that separates paint-style green from the eye-burning #00ff00 of pure screen light. It’s a deep, slightly cool emerald with zero red. This green prints far more truthfully than screen green ever will.
