   Carolina Blue Color

UNC’s Dialectic Society chose light blue in 1795 and the rival Philanthropic Society took white, and when football arrived in the 1880s the team adopted both. Carolina Blue color debates never end, since UNC only made Pantone 542 official in 2015 while working with Nike, and this hex is a lighter, digital take.

   Carolina Green Color

Carolina Green color code #008b6d is a deep jade green, one unit of green and one of blue away from Festive Green. I found no tie to the University of North Carolina, whose color is a sky blue. Treat it as a solid, cool evergreen.
