   Scotch Blue Color

Scotch Blue is a deep, near-navy blue that leans dark enough to read almost black in low light. The name echoes 3M’s ScotchBlue painter’s tape, whose bright blue crepe backing has been the top-selling masking tape in the United States for decades. This version is far moodier than that tape, closer to the ink you’d find in a fountain pen. Use the Scotch Blue color code (#000077) for backgrounds where you want weight without going fully black.
